Student research activities

The Institute of Czech Studies cooperates with the Department of Czech Language and Literature at the Technical University in Liberec (Innovation in Education in the Field of Czech as a Second Language
project), with the department of Czech language and Literature of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the Department of Bohemistics of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem and Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies Charles University in Prague (language skills assessment,
linguodidactic lectures). Together with various institutions abroad, among which, for example, the Leipzig and Wroclaw Universities, The Institute of Czech Studies works on a joint project PRIMUS-BACHELOR+; for over 20 years it has been organising the Berliner Bohemicum/Slovacicum courses in cooperation
with Humboldt University in Berlin. Together with the Kyiv, Lviv, Sheffield and Soul universities, the Institute of Czech Studies is active in textbook creation. Our staff regularly teach at Soul, Tampere, Leipzig, Berlin, Brussels, Santiago de Compostela and Gent Universities and they participate in exchange
programmes organised by universities of Regensburg, Vienna, Brussels, Gent, Santiago de Compostela, Bratislava, Košice, Kiev and Lviv.
